VERMILION REGIONAL AIRPORT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Project name: TAXIWAY ALPHA CONNECTOR

COMPLETED PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
a. A connector from the new Taxiway Alpha to the original Taxiway Alpha located South of the Alpha 1 intersection with runway 21.
b. This is a temporary surface that is to be built to the IDOT Highway spec NOT required to be FAA Taxiway spec.
c. Funding is Budgeted and payments made by Vermilion Regional Airport Authority
SCOPE OF WORK TASKS:
a. Grading, fill, aggregate and surface construction of a temporary connector between the new Taxiway Alpha and the original taxiway Alpha.
b. Construction is to be per the attached drawings
c. Material estimation and design provided by the attached documentation from CMT Engineers of Springfield, IL.
The attached drawing is representative of the work description. A site visit is required to ensure the details of the work.
The materials estimate is provided by CMT Engineers of Springfield, IL.

This surface specification is consistent with the IDOT Highway specification and NOT required to meet the FAA Taxiway specifications of A/C 150 as this is a temporary surface. IDOT Aeronautics has approved this specification.
All Vermilion County contracting and procurement requirements must be understood and contractor in compliance.
