Tree Trimming RFP 2024 – Due Date: August 20, 2024, at 2 p.m.
The goal of this project is to prune the trees at the approach end of Runway 3 near the intersection of Poland Road and Bowman Avenue in order to meet FAA part 77 standards for aircraft approach. The height requirement of the trees varies depending on how far away from the runway the tree is. Attachment C: Desired Tree Height shows the height in feet that should be trimmed from each tree.
Tree pruning and maintenance services shall be performed according to the most current editions of the following benchmark standards:
1. American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A300 Part 1 Pruning Standards
2. ANSI Z133 Safety Standards
3. ISA Best Management Practices: Tree Pruning
